FACILITY
The Durham Luminescence dating Laboratory is based in the Archaeology department of the Durham University (UK). The lab is fully equipped to process and measure luminescence dating samples under red light conditions. The facility equipment includes:

3 Riso TL-DA-series luminescence readers, one of which is fitted with a single-grain attachment, allowing measurements of quartz or K-feldspars both at single aliquot and single-grain levels.

A portable gamma spectrometer for in-situ dose rate measurements.

A high-resolution gamma spectrometer for in-house dose rate measurements.
