Dr. Eric J. Andrieux
Dr. Eric Andrieux is leading the Durham Luminescence dating Laboratory. His research focuses on the dating of archaeological sites and Quaternary sediments (permafrost and periglacial features, aeolian sediments, fluvial terraces, lake deposits, sediment cores, etc.).
Pr. Ian K. Bailiff
Ian Bailiff is professor emeritus and has over 30 years of experience in luminescence dating research. Earlier work includes the dating of ceramic building materials, sediment deposits associated with archaeological sites in coastal regions, shaft and gallery irrigation features (qanats), and more recently work has focused on the dating of lithic clasts.
